The population of Rwanda is 11,7800,000 (2015) and 90% generate their income from traditional agriculture. The program goal is to mobilize the church and community to take care of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and their families and improve the quality of life by using the little resources they have. DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
Our mission is to mobilize church and community members to improve the life quality of the most vulnerable families through Bible study, capacity building, livelihoods and modern agriculture throughout the Kigali Diocese.
Saving and Credit Association Ministry (SCA)
Mission: To invest in the dreams of the poor as we proclaim and live the Gospel in the worlds under-served communities.
Method: We share the hope of Christ as we provide biblically based training, savings services, and loans that restore dignity and break the cycle of poverty.
Motivation: The love of Jesus Christ motivates us to identify with those living in poverty and be his hands and feet as we strive to glorify God.
As of 2015 we had 408 saving groups with 7,289 group members (2,358 male and 4,931 female). 35,263,851 Rwf of amount saved, 38,394,481 Rwf in Loans and 68,698,759 Rwf in investment (livestock, land and small business).
